Below is an overview of my professional education and the modalities used to help clients.

NKT has enabled me to help many clients with “unsolvable” problems since attending the first European Seminar in 2012. NKT dramatically featured on BBC1s Doctor In The House.
I’m privileged to be one of only 10 DNA Practitioners in Europe. DNA tunes into Nervous System Responses, starting with the Breathing Apparatus / Intrinsic Kinetic Chain. If you don’t own breathing you will be Movement & Global Function compromised.
Breathing and the Intrinsic Kinetic Chain is the first thing to address if you have pain, restriction or movement issues, including Lower Back Pain, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Jaw and Neck issues. Most clients present with all of these.
DNA is the only modality which is able to determine which System is actually driving your Symptoms, be it Structural, Physiological or a Limbic Association. Then treating the Priority System driver, rather than just focussing on your obvious symptoms.
Proprioceptive Deep Tendon Reflex (P-DTR) is the original development and research of Orthopedic Surgeon Dr Jose Palomar. It recognises that input from Sensory Receptors ( Golgi, Pacini, Vibration, Hot, Cold, Nociceptors etc.) and the way the brain processes and acts on this this information directly affects our neuromuscular responses. If Receptor feedback to the brain is faulty or corrupted, motor control affecting our movement & stability will be compromised, resulting in Pain & Dysfunction.
I had the privilege to be a Teaching Assistant to David Weinstock, who devised NKT over 30 years ago, at the London School of Osteopathy.
Myoskeletal Bodywork is based on the principles of Osteopathy and Structural Integration. Many of my clients would normally see an Osteopath. Techniques used include mobilisations, soft tissue release, muscle energy techniques, fascial release and neuromuscular re-education. Treating muscles, joints and fascia to restore balance, improve function and reduce pain. I am a Certified Advanced Myoskeletal Practitioner.
Formerly the British School of Osteopathy, the University College of Osteopathy has been a leading provider of osteopathic education, research and healthcare for over 100 years.
Relaunched as the University College of Osteopathy in September 2017, the UCO is currently the only osteopathic institution in Europe to have been granted University College title and the power to award its own degrees.
I completed Douglas Heel’s Muscle Activation Therapy training at the University College of Osteopathy, London.
